Honoring National Caregivers Day with Doulas of Duluth |
|
February 20, 2026, marks National Caregivers Day, recognizing caregivers across our nation and in Minnesota who support pregnant women, infants, and families with complex needs. Doulas are non-clinical professionals who provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
One local example is Doulas of Duluth. Founded in 2019, this growing team works to build a diverse, sustainable birth doula workforce and expand access to doula services in the Duluth community. MNPQC appreciates the work of Doulas of Duluth and recognizes all caregivers for the essential support they provide. |
