Review the MDH Perinatal Subcommittee's Perinatal Health Strategic Plan |
|
In 2022, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) received a five-year Maternal Health Outcomes in Minnesota (I-MOM) grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and subsequently launched the Perinatal Subcommittee. Together, MDH and the subcommittee co-designed the Perinatal Health Strategic Plan, which addresses ten key perinatal health disparities affecting Black, Indigenous, and rural communities across Minnesota. The plan has already led to the formation of three community action teams that will implement its recommendations over the remaining two years of the I-MOM grant. |
