Postpartum Patient Experience Survey |
|
MNPQC is currently collecting Postpartum Patient Experience Surveys on Navigating Perinatal Healthcare with Substance Use Disorder in Minnesota. We seek responses from individuals who have been pregnant in the past 5 years while using drugs or alcohol, though those who did not are also welcome. The anonymous survey takes 15-20 minutes to complete, and participants can receive a $20 gift card. Available in English, Spanish, Hmong, and Somali. |

Feedback Requested From Mental Health & Substance Use Providers |
|
The Minnesota Supreme Court Council on Child Protection and Maltreatment Prevention requests feedback from mental health and substance use providers to identify ways of improving the current child protection system and prevent maltreatment. You can view the full e-memo from the Minnesota Department of Human Services HERE.
The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and closes on Monday, August 18, 2025. |

Guest speaker, Tolu Odebunmi, MBBS, MPH, will review current recommendations for screening perinatal mental health concerns, including depression and anxiety, during pregnancy and postpartum. Participants will learn the optimal timing for screenings at key touchpoints like prenatal visits and pediatric follow-ups, aligning with national guidelines. The session will also discuss strategies for integrating screening into workflows to improve care continuity for birthing individuals and their families. |

Obstetrical Hemorrhage COL – Launching September 2025 |
|
This initiative aims to enhance the number of Minnesota birthing facilities equipped with the training, standardized protocols, and resources necessary for the effective identification, prevention, and management of obstetric hemorrhage. The focus will be on communities most impacted by maternal health disparities. Through collaborative learning, the program will foster improved continuity in clinical practices and protocols, promoting equitable care delivery.
