The Perinatal Education ECHO Series Continues: Save the Dates for 2027

The MNPQC is thrilled to announce that the Perinatal Education ECHO series that started back in May 2026 will continue into 2027. Even more exciting? We’ve got the session dates lined up and ready to share with you - 2027 Save the Date Flyer!

As we continue the series, we will focus on Plans of Safe Care (POSC), respectful maternal care, hemorrhage, perinatal mental health, hypertension, and many other perinatal health conditions.

So far in 2026, the ECHO series has brought together nearly 555 registered participants, and we want to see the number grow even bigger in the new year! We open this learning opportunity to healthcare professionals, social workers, public health professionals, behavioral health professionals, and community organization leaders across Minnesota who want to learn more about addressing perinatal health outcomes.

We are thankful to those who have engaged with this program thus far!

AMCHP’s Perinatal Substance Use Collaboration & Policy Action Map

Explore the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs’ (AMCHP) new Perinatal Substance Use Collaboration & Policy Action Map. This resource provides leaders across the country with an overview of the systems that shape families' experiences accessing perinatal substance use disorder (SUD) care.

By outlining what an ideal perinatal substance use system could look like, the resource aims to encourage collaboration across sectors in the maternal health community and offers clear recommendations to advance effective policies. AMCHP has also developed a helpful tutorial video that walks through the map’s components and accompanying resources.

There is still time to join the live launch webinar today, October 21, 2026, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm CDT.
